Why We Built This

We made this move ourselves... the hard way!

Rachel spent years as an Orange County real estate agent, so we went in knowing more than most. We still hit almost every pitfall on the board.

We lost nearly $3,000 to a moving company that turned out to be a scam. Our loan went down to the wire and nearly missed the closing date, which would have meant pulling into Boise with a full truck, tired kids, and no keys. And we bought our home sight unseen, trusting our future home to a local agent.

Well, this home turned out to be our dream home, and that local agent is part of our team now. So is the mover that actually got us here on schedule, unloading right when we rolled into town. Along with our listing agent in California, and our preferred lender that has one job: closing on time...
